Sohany Pandey is a very famous Reiki Grandmaster for 26 years, Chakra healer, Tarot card reader, and motivational speaker. She hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Her birthplace is Gorakhpur.
Sohany Pandey – Her Childhood
At 9 years, she fell ill and was suffering from a high fever. People had very little awareness about meditation and Reiki healing. Many of them were not aware. Ojhas and priests used to clean one’s aura by blowing on the water and giving it to drink to the sick. It was a technique of cleaning one’s aura. The Morpankha was used for aura cleansing.
But people misused these techniques a lot and were widespread as a taboo. That is why this powerful technique of healing got misfamed. In today’s time, even science has proven that there is an existence of electromagnetic fields and that one can sense the auras through cameras. Even non-living things have energy centers. People in the past were mostly unaware about reiki and those who were aware had misused it and were responsible for misnaming it on a large scale in society, being unaware of the science behind aura cleaning made people avoid visiting reiki healers.
Sohany’s neighbor was a reiki healing practitioner and gave her healing water to drink. As the body possesses about 70 percent of water and just like medicines gets diluted into the body when consumed, such as the action of healing water which is accepted by the molecules and neurons and the sick person heals after consuming it with a positive affirmation because of its positive effects.

Sohany felt connected towards reiki at an early stage but as she was too young to understand the concept of reiki healing, her neighbor had told her that water is god and she had prayed to water that Sohany should get alright in order to solve her curiosity. But, Sohany wondered why people consult doctors while being ill and not pray to ‘Jal Devata’ for their healing. She had got connected to Reiki at an early age.
After coming to Pune, she visited various ashrams in which Osho international was one. Osho Rajneesh was himself a reiki healer, and he knew reiki healing. Reiki is positive energy and practicing it regularly can bring a lot of positivity to an individual and in their actions. Sohany also read about Buddhism and she came to know that Lord Buddha was also a Reiki healer. Similarly, Sai Baba of Shirdi was also a reiki healer and used to heal people.
Sohany learned Reiki healing from her guru, Pt. Ramesh Chandra Shukla Ji, twenty years before. At that time, it was known as ‘Sanjeewani Vidya’. Level 1 in reiki heals the learning person from inside first by the seven chakras. Level 2 requires working and healing the various powerful symbols which contribute to the increment of the positive energy.
Working with master symbols that focus on ‘Psychic healing and Psychic Surgery’ is covered in Level 3. Level 4 comprises teaching methods involved in understanding different techniques used in reiki healing, such as crystal ball reading. Level 5 is the grandmaster stage, which involves learning about how to heal others and transfer positive energy to other people using reiki healing techniques.
Sohany has witnessed a lot of cases of positive effects of reiki which has healed many people not only physically but also mentally and karmically who are connected to reiki. People have found reiki beneficial in solving relationship issues and strengthening relationships with others more. Besides, Reiki increases the flow of energy in whichever field is required, which turns upbringing more prosperity in return.
Sohany found her motivation in the truth of believing in ‘The Supreme Universal Power’, which is constantly taking care of all of us, and once we surrender ourselves in front of that power, then we only rise more and more.
The challenges which were faced by Sohany while teaching Reiki healing were connecting with people because people were unaware of it at the beginning. But slowly and gradually, this challenge vanished away when people started getting aware of reiki healing and gained a knowledge of its beneficiary and positive effects. They started connecting to her and learning reiki.
Today, many people are interested and want to learn reiki and make themselves prosperous through it. Because of her devotion towards the supreme power, her dedication towards learning reiki and teaching it, she never had to face so much trouble. Reiki is cosmic energy.
Sohany has not taken even a single allopathic medicine for the last eight years and her family is also involved in reiki healing, where all the family members are equally fit and fine and are doing great. Sohany in the last year has taught reiki healing to almost 200 people via online classes and has helped them enrich their lives.
Sohany had started ‘Tarot Card Reading’ seven years back, which is also an energy. Sohany came into Chakra meditation seven years back, which mainly focuses on healing the endocrine gland. The endocrine gland is the major gland in the body which governs almost all the major functions taking place in the body and because of this, it becomes of utmost priority to take care of the endocrine gland.
