One of the best descriptions of humans I’ve ever encountered is explaining human beings as meaning-making machines. But to make sense, the most primitive thing that we humans need is information. Parents, Teachers, siblings, peers all have been the most significant source of information during our childhood. But as we add years to our life, we witness the media turning into a prime source of information. Today we bring you the story of Brijesh Bhatt and Narad Sanchar, a media platform that shares positivity and spreads the cultural glory of our nation through its work.

Be it through a newspaper or electronic means. We have access to information about something happening in the other part of the globe. But as it is said that with great potential comes significant risk. We are at risk of developing fear, anxiety, or even trauma by exposure to the media. Does this mean that the media is terrible? NO! It simply means that our responsibility is to filter and choose the view that is part of the media that would positively impact us.

We are in the era of a pandemic. Due to this, most news we see on television is about the rising number of cases. The influence of the media has dramatically added to the fear in the minds of people. But amid this pandemic, blinded by its fear, we ignored the little positive things happening around us.

Narad Sanchar Spreading Positivity by Brijesh Bhatt – My Story

My childhood was spent in Uttarakhand. Later, I migrated from there and came to Delhi. To adjust to an entirely new city was quite challenging for me. Facing and overcoming the hurdles in my way, I completed my education. Initially, I worked in a hotel. Then I got associated with the media monitoring industry. I analyzed and learned the nature of the work and started working in that field.

Then I got to know about the PR industry. That’s when I decided to do my post-graduation diploma in PR from Bharati Vidya Bhawan. As I started working in the PR industry, I realized the strength of the media. Media holds power to influence the entire society. If someone has a good following, is a good content creator, and has a wise flow of ideas, then that person can significantly impact the masses through the media.

The journey of Narad Sanchar has a fascinating start. As my profession is PR, I have been associated with the media for a long time. Since the time I was working as a freelancer, I had this idea of Narad Sanchar – a media platform initiative to share positive news, share historical facts, and promote the rich traditional culture of our nation. Back then, I got my website registered.

But Narad Sanchar came into its true glory when I took the initiative of starting the page on Facebook as a discussion forum. This initiative was taken during the period of lockdown. Our first program took place on the auspicious occasion of ‘Narad Jayanti.’ The program received an admirable response from the viewers, and they encouraged us to continue making such programs.

Every person who is working sincerely and puts genuine efforts into their work is an inspiration to me. May the person be rich or poor; may they have a six-figure salary or pay that hardly takes care of the family’s basic needs. If someone is showing sincerity in their work, then that person motivates me greatly.

I highly respect APJ Abdul Kalam, boxer Mike Tyson, who has put genuine efforts into their work and produced extraordinary results. In my opinion, everyone who struggled and successfully overcame the challenges of life, achieving something great, has a unique lesson to teach to all of us.

We aim to cover the positive and inspirational things happening around us through the medium of Narad Sanchar. We wish to spread positivity and bring our followers awareness of our Indian culture, art, literature, and ancient science.

We have initiated a program named ‘Gyan-Ganga,’ by which we attempt to raise cultural awareness. With these efforts, we want to create positive content that would guide the upcoming generation by becoming a source of inspiration. Also, it is a humble attempt not to let our traditional values and rich culture fade away amid the buzz of western culture in upcoming generations.

My life showed some significant positive shifts when I began with Narad Sanchar. My morning begins with a thought revolving around what good and positive content I can share with my viewers today. I do some study and come up with the content which would suit the best on the page. With time, this has become a sweet passion within itself. Every day is an excellent opportunity for me to work hard and put sincere efforts into my passion. I am indeed very grateful for this endeavor.

The role of the media is to represent people, speak up, and question the system. It is meant to be for the welfare of the people. Also, it informs about the events happening all over the globe. But the very role of the media infuses a conflict-like situation within the industry. Negativity gets highlighted, thus gaining more attention.
On the contrary, Narad Sanchar has also been a platform that aspires to keep working on the positive aspects of the events. With any initiative, there are always some admirers and some criticizers. But despite their opinion, we keep moving ahead, keeping up the work that we have been doing.

To me, each successful program is like an achievement. I am indeed thrilled to see the senior and respected dignitaries who show up on our platform, sharing the knowledge and wisdom they possess. Seeing them adding to our cause makes me very delighted. We do various Astrology related talks. We have initiated a series named ‘Narad communication music sarita’ to spread knowledge about Indian classical music. On special occasions, we have conducted poetry events. We also conduct a ‘Gyan Ganga’ program that focuses on promoting cultural values and spiritual knowledge.

Every one of us wishes for success in our life. But one needs to know that there’s a sun and there’s a moon in the sky. The sun shines in the day. It serves as a prime energy source to the earth, but even the moon has its significance. The time of night is when the moon shines. We all are just like that. Everyone serves a different purpose, and everyone shines when their time arrives.

So don’t spend your time comparing yourself with others. Keep focusing on how you can strive consistently to become better at what you are good at. You may know some things that the other person doesn’t know. Similarly, the other person may know some things that you may not know. Thus, acknowledge this fact and share the knowledge you have, share the positivity you carry.

In my opinion, learning is a lifelong process. One can keep learning something new every day of their lives, from every situation and person they come across. So, I would like to thank all the readers who seek to learn from every situation you ever face in your life and keep growing.
