Judge
Judge - A poem by Rinkal

Judge

Before you decide
to be mean and rude
Know that they starve
Despite having food

Before you teach them
Right and wrong
Know what possibly broke them
Was being too strong

Before you validate
Their bonds as unreal
Try to understand
The depth of what they feel

Know “I am fine”
Is a frequently spoken lie
Reach out to people
Because every day they die

Before you decide
That there’s nothing to cure
Know that even the strongest
Can be insecure

We need to love
We need to care
For each other
We need to be there

Because fat and thin
Because weak and strong
Are merely tags
Not right not wrong

Feelings and emotions
Are what everyone has
And only love can save us
No matter how difficult is the phase

To judge someone does not define who they are, but it defines who you are. Despite our best efforts, we all judge others. Rinkal puts the feeling in the form of a poem.
